Cloud storage provider IceWEB Storage announced on Wednesday it has released IceBOX v3.0, the latest version of its cloud storage solution.
The move comes a few months after IceWEB added three new IceBOX-based appliances to its hardware portfolio, the S1200, S2200, and the S2250.
Based on feedback from customers and partners around the globe, IceWEB has released the latest software version of its IceBOX product, IceBOX v3.0.
The software release enhances the enterprise file sharing and synchronization capabilities of IceBOX giving it the most advanced features in its class.
Some of the major enhancements include new enterprise file sharing features, anonymous file uploads to public shares, the ability to re-share files/folders, and the ability to share files/folders to groups.
The solution’s “Smart” folders provide access to user home directories, a completely redesigned IceBOX administration portal, and an enhanced system configuration menu portal.
The solution also has added support for WebDAV including access to network shares, anti-virus file scanning, multi-file and folder download, Recycle Bin protection, and PNG images.
The solution has auditing and authentication features, including mixed-mode authentication, downloadable audit logs, group imports from Active Directory. Finally, IceBOX includes a Microsoft Outlook plug-in.
