November 11, 2004 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- The National Arbitration Forum (arbitration-forum.com) and the Asian Domain Name Dispute Resolution Centre (cietac.org.cn) have been approved as independent dispute resolution providers for ICANN's (icann.org) Transfer Dispute Resolution Policy, announced today. The policy is part of the new Inter-Registrar Transfer Policy that goes into effect Friday, November 12.

The organizations will handle disputes and appeals between registrars over alleged violations of the transfer policy.

The ADNDRC is a joint undertaking between the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission and the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre. The ADNDRC provides domain name dispute resolution services through offices in Beijing and Hong Kong. The North America-based National Arbitration Forum was established in 1986.
