(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web hosting provider I-Evolve Technology (www.i-evolve.com) announced on Monday it has acquired the customer base of hosting and design firm Core101 (www.core101.com). The company has not disclosed the financial terms of the transaction.

Prior to the acquisition, Core101 provided Web hosting, email hosting, DNS hosting, domain name management and email marketing.

The company’s more than 350 hosting customers include NHL team Buffalo Sabres, liquor retailer Premier Group, The Hamburg Casino and the Buffalo Museum of Science, which are currently in the process of switching platforms to I-Evolve.

I-Evolve will also handle services such as domain management and email marketing for the new customers.

The acquisition doubles I-Evolve’s customer base and the company says it expects at least a 15 percent increase in revenues.

With access to data centers in Amherst, Buffalo and Los Angeles, I-Evolve plans to ramp up marketing efforts for its VoIP, cloud and Web hosting services.

I-Evolve’s new technical services coordinator Dawn Van de Wal is assisting with the migration of the CORE101 websites to I-Evolve’s platform.

Van de Wal has over 15 years of experience with focus on technology, with hands-on experience in project management, Web content creation, grant writing, event planning and daily operations.

At I-Evolve, Van de Wal will plan and execute projects, which include allocating resources, coordinating the efforts of team members and overseeing quality control.

Additionally, Van de Wal will work with customers to help them develop their websites and train them on how to best use the Internet to meet their marketing goals.
