September 2, 2004 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web hosting provider Hurricane Electric (he.net) announced on Wednesday that it is hosting “SysAdmin 101,” a Unix seminar geared toward intermediate and advanced users as well as beginning system administrators, on October 3, 2004.
The semiar will focus on teaching participants advanced command line interaction, shell scripting power techniques and the core concepts underlying system administration of a Unix or Linux system. Dave Taylor, an author, teacher and speaker with 25 years of experience in the Unix community, will lead the seminar. According to Hurricane Electric, the one-day seminar is the first in a series of events designed to promote continued education in the business and technology field.
