August 31, 2004 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web hosting provider Hurricane Electric (he.net) announced on Monday that it has upgraded its Web hosting plans by significantly increasing the amount of storage and traffic included without increasing the price.
Increasing the amount of storage in its Enhanced Virtual Host by five times and quadrupling the traffic allotment, Hurricane Electric says it has significantly increased the offering’s value. The plan now includes 5GB of disk storage and 100GB of bandwidth for only $24.95 a month.
Customers using the Professional Virtual Host plan, valued at $59.95 a month, will have access to more than double the amount of storage, 12GB of disk space compared to 5GB, and quadruple the amount of traffic, 240GB of bandwidth compared 60GB.
