(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Managed hosting provider Hostworks announced on Thursday it reported the financial records for the first half-year since it was acquired by Broadcast Australia in March 2008.
Company founder Marty Gauvin recently left the company following its acquisition by Broadcast Australia.
The company has signed more than $25 million in order book value value, which doubles the company’s previous year’s first half sales.
Hostworks signed two new clients, including South Australian Health and Jetstar.
Additionally, the company signed many five-year contract renewals with existing clients.
“Our clients recognize that we help them reduce costs and improve service levels in the current challenging business environment,” says Klaus Bartosch, sales and marketing director at Hostworks. “Customers are increasingly turning to Hostworks over the more traditional IT outsource providers as we deliver real value to our clients by reducing the cost of their IT operations while providing superior personal service and support.”
Wholly-owned subsidiary of Macquarie Communications Infrastructure Group (www.macquarie.com.au), Hostworks provides a range of services, including managed hosting, colocation, and email hosting.
