February 5, 2007 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Domain registrar and Web hosting provider Hostway (hostway.co.uk) announced on Monday it is now offering over 90 new country code top level domains to its customers, alongside a spring domain sale which will last throughout February and March.
Almost 100 new ccTLDs have been integrated into the new domain offering from Hostway, including .it (Italy), .in (India), .cn (China) and .at (Austria). Some of the new ccTLDs are effectively ‘unrestricted’ in terms of a registrant’s right to apply for them, meaning people who have have so far struggled to secure the domain of their choice, may be able to do so under a different extension.
The advanced search option on Hostway’s domain order form features a ‘name spinning” tool, enabling users to find variations of any entered domain name or search keywords. The new names makes Hostway one of the largest domain name registrars in the world. Additional European extensions such as .es (Spain) .fr (France) and .dk (Denmark) are scheduled for later in the year.
Hostway has also launched a spring sale, with significant discounts on major domain names such as .com and .co.uk. For a limited period during February and March, customers can save up to 25 percent on their domain names.
