(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Hosting provider Hostway Corporation (www.hostway.com) has become an R1Soft (www.r1soft.com) Elite Hosting Partner with the purchase of an R1Soft Elite Hosting License, making R1Soft’s data protection and recovery services available globally at its data centers in the US, Canada, the UK, Germany, Korea, and Australia.
According to Hostway’s Thursday announcement, it is offering R1Soft’s Continuous Data Protection, a self-managed dedicated server, managed hosting, and enterprise data center backup, protection and recovery solution, to its customers worldwide. Hostway and R1Soft have been working together for more than a year on internal backup solutions for Hostway’s enterprise-class managed services at several of its state-of-the-art North American data centers.
“We have been impressed with the ease of use, high reliability, and advanced features available with R1Soft’s Continuous Data Protection,” Hostway enterprise hosting director Todd Benjamin said in a statement. “This technology integrates very well with our mission to provide highly-reliable, secure enterprise services for our dedicated server and managed enterprise applications customers. The R1Soft product will support the secure, automated backup of customer data throughout our data centers and externally to our enterprise customers.”
The new products are available immediately and include managed backup services inside Hostway data centers and to enterprise servers located remotely, as well as a new customized CDP Center for demanding customer specific backup applications. Leveraging its extensive global data center and network footprint, Hostway will offer optional off-site configuration of the backup and restore facilities for the ultimate in protection and reliability.
