February 13, 2006 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web content management software firm Penguin Soft announced on Monday that it had introduced its Web-based HostSMB CMS (hostsmb.com) product for the Web hosting business.
HostSMB, says the company, is a site-building tool designed for use in both assisted Web site creation and under do-it-yourself circumstances. In both cases, says Penguin Soft, Web hosting providers can offer the product as a value-added service.
The product, says the company, can integrate with new and existing sites with one server setup, supporting up to 1,700 sites concurrently.
“Site builders lack business quality creative designs. Existing Web sites are all left alone without updates. This is where HostSMB CMS comes in. For existing sites, power them up with CMS for easy updates in just hours. For new sites, offer professional design backed by CMS all within the price ranges of most SMB clients.” says Sun Joo Moon, CEO of Penguin Soft.
