September 23, 2003 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — HostRocket (hostrocket.com) unveiled on Monday its “rollover bandwidth” service. The new service allows unused bandwidth to be rolled over and used in the following month.
According to HostRocket, the new service eliminates costly bandwidth coverage charges that webmasters are faced with when they exceed their monthly bandwidth allocation. The idea of rolling over and “crediting” bandwidth to hosting customers is a concept that will “not only change the industry, but clearly turn it upside down,” the company said in a release.
