Hostopia Wins Ontario Traders Awards
April 12, 2006 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Internet applications provider Hostopia (hostopia.com) announced on Tuesday that it has been awarded two Ontario Global Traders Awards presented on April 2 at the 8th Annual Ontario Global Traders Central Ontario Awards ceremony. Hostopia received the bronze award for Innovation and the silver award for Market Expansion Service.
“Were very proud to be recognized for our achievements in innovation and market expansion,” says Bill Campbell, Hostopias CEO. “To receive two prestigious awards on the same day is a great honour.”
Market Expansion and Innovation awards are open to Ontario-based, small to medium-sized enterprises in operation for a minimum of three fiscal years, with annual sales of up to $100 million, and a maximum of 200 employees.
Companies must export to one or more countries and their export sales must account for at least 15 percent of total sales. Nominated companies are then evaluated by independent regional judging panels which include representatives from business, education, and economic development sectors.
