July 10, 2002 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Private label Web hosting provider Hostopia (Hostopia.com) announced the release of a hosted e-commerce application that permits small and mid-sized businesses to quickly build and launch an online store at low cost.
The solution, entitled “EasyStoreMaker” is a new application embedded into Hostopia’s private labeled suite of Web hosting services. The application is user-friendly, allowing a novice to build a store without detailed technical knowledge.
Users can easily include and integrate product photos, pricing, local tax calculations and shipping and handling fees into their online store using the “EasyStoreMaker” tool.
Consumers subscribing to one of several hosting plans offered through third-party service providers will have access to the online store application. The application is bundled with Hostopia’s proprietary automation technology free of charge, for distribution by Web host resellers.
