HostingCon 2010 to Take Place in Austin

(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Social media firm iNET Interactive (www.inetinteractive.com) announced on Monday that HostingCon 2010 (www.hostingcon.com), a conference and trade show serving the hosted services industry, will be held in Austin, Texas, on July 19 to 21 at the Austin Convention Center.

The announcement was made at HostingCon 2009, which is being held this week through Wednesday at the Gaylord National Resort.

The annual conference and trade show attracts web hosts, data centers, software as a service, ISPs and other infrastructure providers from around the world.

NET Interactive VP of sales Kelly Kleiner says it chose the Austin Convention Center for its “easily accessible, and technologically-focused location surrounded by great entertainment”.

Located just 7.5 miles from the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, the venue is within walking distance of world-class dining, entertainment and hotels.”

Home to many web hosting companies and data centers, Austin is one of the top technology cities in the nation. Additionally, the city is known for its flourishing music scene, being home to the South by Southwest conference, as well as the Austin City Limits music festival.
