The event will offer a full session program, as well as some interesting keynote presentations. On August 10, Sergei Beloussov of Parallels will deliver his presentation, “Finding your position to compete in a changing hosting industry.
Other keynotes that day will include a presentation from Iain Grant of SeaBoard Group, who will discuss “Build-Buy-Colocate to Compete in the Future.” Finally, Mike Jones of Softlayer and Tim Holland of UK2 will present “How to Survive the Financial Crisis.”
On August 11, Zane Adam of Microsoft will deliver his presentation, “Virtualization: Enabling Hosting Providers to be Successful in the New Era of Software-plus-Services.” Anotonio Piraino of Tier1 Research, Steven Cho of Google, and Daniel Burton of Salesforce will deliver their keynote, which is simply entitled “Cloud Computing”.
Finally, August 12 will bring a keynote presentation called “Data Protection Policies in US and EU”. The keynote will be delivered by David Ritchie of the US Department of Commerce, Frank Schmiedel of Delegation of the European Commission to the US, and it will be moderated by Larry Donahue of Deep Web Technologies.
In addition to technology, HostingCon 2009 will offer proven and practical strategies from leaders from inside and outside the hosting industry on a range of topics including search engine optimization, social media marketing, lead generation, new product launches, data security challenges, and PCI compliance issues.
iNet has posted the entire schedule for the three-day conference and trade show, including all the session topics and presenters.
The early-bird deadline ends on June 29, which gives attendees a savings of $155.
iNet says that 89 percent of the booths on the show floor are sold, with the current list of exhibitors available for viewing here.
Additionally, the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center is offering a discounted group rate to HostingCon attendees for all reservations made by July 13.
