HostingCon 2006 Continues
July 19, 2006 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — North America’s largest Web hosting event HostingCon 2006 (hostingcon.com) continued on its second day at the Mirage hotel and casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Exhibitors and attendees started off the day with a keynote titled “Lessons from the Trenches What Works Now,” a panel discussion in which CEOs from a variety of companies had the opportunity to share their insights on what works and what doesn’t work in today’s market.
CEOs from Web.com, HostMySite, FastServers and CI Host engaged the audience with discussions about how to organically grow their companies from the ground up, what new technologies each of the companies launched that they considered truly novel and their views on the impending downfall of the dedicated market.
Conference-goers continued their day with more schmoozing in the exhibit hall and a variety of vendor educational sessions from Swsoft, Verio, cPanel and Ensim. In addition, attendees sat in on sessions going on all day, including one by Web Host Industry Review’s director of marketing and business development Candice Rodriguez titled “Marketing your Hosting Services with Effective Search Engine Optimized Press Releases.”
HostingCon 2006 wraps up on Wednesday.
