Hosting Controller Releases Service Pack

March 20, 2003 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web hosting automation solution provider Hosting Controller (HostingController.com) announced this week that it has released its Build 3 Service Pack 4, providing a completely revamped billing system, a new bandwidth monitoring utility, rich reporting and a new host-to-reseller auto signup.

The billing system, says Hosting Controller, now supports almost every payment gateway, including Authorize.Net, PayPal, WorldPay and LinkPoint. It includes a number of additional features, including pro-rated and non-prorated invoicing, automatic invoicing and billing, invoice alert, payment reminders, automatic site deactivation and reactivation after payment, forms for off-line and online payment, multi-currency support, and the ability to switch off billing completely.

Using Hosting Controller’s Gateway OpenAPI, says the company, the billing solution can serve large data centers and small Web hosts alike.

The service pack also includes a powerful bandwidth monitoring utility designed to monitor a Web site’s bandwidth usage and send email alerts to both site owner and host. It can automatically sell bandwidth to Web sites that exceed allowed limits.
