(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Managed hosting providvder Hosting.com (www.hosting.com) announced on Monday it has launched a ColdFusion 9 hosting trial.
The ColdFusion 9 Beta Program provides free hosted accounts until November 20. Once registered, users can preview and explore the functionality of the ColdFusion 9 software.
The ColdFusion development suite includes a server and toolsets designed to integrate databases and Web pages, providing an application development system that integrates browser, server and database technologies into Web applications.
The latest ColdFusion release, Adobe ColdFusion 9, lets developers quickly create enterprise-ready online applications by condensing complex business logic into fewer lines of code.
The new version improves productivity, enterprise integrations and work flow with Adobe Flash Builder, Adobe AIR and AJAX to create applications.
Those who are interested in participating in the free ColdFusion 9 Beta Program can sign up here.
Following its acquisition by Wachovia Capital Partners in 2008, HostMySite expanded by acquiring Hosting.com earlier this year. Both properties were ultimately integrated under the Hosting.com brand.
Hosting.com’s combined resources include ColdFusion hosting services and over 6,000 ColdFusion customers around the world.
“Adobe, ColdFusion and the user communities that rely on these technologies are central to our product and service launches,” says Matt Mullens, Hosting.com ColdFusion product manager. “We have offered ColdFusion solutions since our inception in 1997 and host many of the industry’s premier ColdFusion websites. “Adobe’s renewed commitment to ColdFusion is evident in this latest release – our existing clients and those using ColdFusion today will notice significant improvements in usability and experience.”
Hosting.com will demonstrate the beta release of its vCloud Express on-demand cloud computing solution and register attendees for free ColdFusion 9 Beta accounts, at this week’s Adobe Max 2009 in Los Angeles.
