(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Server management provider 1H announced on Tuesday that its set of hosting automation products are now fully compatible with Debian and can be installed on servers running the operating system.
According to the press release, it also includes support for the hosting control panels compatible with Debian – Plesk and DirectAdmin.
1H says that Hive, Guardian, and Hawk can now be installed on servers running CentOS, RedHat Enterprise and Debian operating systems. 1H set of software includes Hive server optimization, Guardian server monitoring and Hawk intrusion prevention.
According to the press release, this product development was the major focus of 1H over the past two months and came about after multiple service requests by web hosts that operate Debian OS on their servers.
“We’ve received numerous requests from clients running Debian OS and practically couldn’t offer them a solution when they clearly needed one,” Marian Marinov, CEO and co-founder said in a statement. “So we geared up to respond to that demand as soon as possible and help all those potential partners manage their hosting business in a better and more efficient way.”
“Our system operations team worked hard the last two months to deliver a fully automated installation process for Debian users, it now takes less than 10 minutes to deploy all 1H products on a production Debian machine without causing any downtime or service interruption,” he stated.
