January 8, 2008 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web hosting provider Hosted Solutions (hostedsolutions.com) announced on Tuesday that it has signed a three-year agreement to provide managed hosting services for mobile shopping provider mShopper (mshopper.com).
mShopper was seeking a hosting partner that could deliver a fully managed enterprise infrastructure and 100 percent network uptime to support its hosted applications. Hosted Solutions will provide mShopper with a secure network, bringing reliability, security and availability to mShopper’s technology hardware and applications, says the company. Hosted Solutions will manage mShopper’s entire application infrastructure, providing it with Hi-Touch dedicated servers, managed firewall, SPLA licensing, OS management, managed backups and network connectivity. These services will be monitored and maintained by Hosted Solutions at its Boston data center facility.

Last month, Hosted Solutions and Massachusetts Technology Leadership Council hosted the “Mass SaaS Goes Public” 2007 software as a service leadership honors reception.
