Host Gator Upgrades Hosting Plans

December 20, 2006 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web hosting provider Host Gator (hostgator.com) announced on Wednesday that it has made “significant” upgrades to its shared hosting and reseller hosting plans.

Host Gator says its shared hosting plans, priced at $6.95, $9.95 and $14.95 per month, now come with 50GB, 100GB and 200GB of disk space, and 200GB, 1,000GB and 2,000GB of bandwidth, respectively.

“We are delighted to be able to offer our customers this increased capacity,” says Brent Oxley, president and founder of Host Gator. “Copious amounts of disk space and bandwidth are a basic hosting need and we make sure our customers have more than enough at their immediate disposal. It’s just part of our mission to give our customers everything they need to succeed and prosper online.”

The company also added SSH capabilities to its Web hosting plans, enabling customers to set up secure connections between remote computers.

Host Gator also recently expanded, moving its headquarters to Houston, Texas from Boca Raton, Flordia, and set up a Canadian office in Toronto.
