Host Department Launches New Site

July 21, 2008 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Domain registrar and web hosting provider Host Department (hostdepartment.com) announced on Monday it has officially launched its corporate redesigned website, which features a new skin. The company says it is re-focusing on its vision of “professionalism, prompt support and quality hosting service”.

In the past, Host Department customers have criticized the website for being too crowded, causing visitors to not find what they are searching. To solve this issue, the company created a new site design to ensure that customers and visitors are able to quickly find what they need.

Host Department decided to keep a similar site structure and only re-design the skin, however, it says that not all of the pages within the website have been updated with the new skin. The Domain Name Registration section, for instance, has not been updated because of some minor difficulty in the coding structure.

The web host says its new site reflects its philosophy of professionalism that includes $3.95 exclusive hosting package, smart domain name registration, reseller hosting and web development solution.

“We want visitors to easily find what they need and reduce the effort they have to make in getting their website up,” says Hagen Oey, Host Department product manager. “The new site will definitely help a lot in minimizing it.”

Host Department is based in Union City, New Jersey with data centers located in Santa Clara, California, and Wilmington, Delaware. The company celebrated the Fourth of July by offering discounts on its nolimit and reseller web hosting plans.

Last week, shared hosting provider midPhase also relaunched its website, along with its corporate vision and offerings.
