Host Color Launches Affiliate Program

September 19, 2008 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Global web hosting provider Host Color (hostcolor.com) has launched a new affiliate program that pays members commissions on sales and also for bringing visitors to Host Color’s pages.

According to Host Color’s announcement this week, the company’s new Affiliate Center and Affiliate Program offers members 25 percent of the company’s revenue per sale with an average commission for Shared Hosting plans at $35.97 per sale. Affiliates who bring a new customers are given the highest commission of $99.75.

Affiliates are also given premiums for sending quality, targeted visitors to Host Color’s web pages on a pay-per-click model.

“We spent some time to discuss our new affiliate model with our customers and affiliates, and we decided to launch a unique affiliate program, very different from those other web hosts maintain,” Host Color managing director Alexander Avramov said in a statement. “Unlike others, we pay not only for the sales our affiliates make, but for visitors sent.”

The new affiliate program is the latest marketing effort for Host Color, which re-launched its website in August.
