December 13, 2007 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web hosting provider Host Color (hostcolor.com) announced on Wednesday that it has added the Textpattern content management application to its Web hosting plans, providing a flexible way for customers to operate their websites.
Texpattern, says Host Color, is designed to help website operators and online entrepreneurs publish content and simplify the construction of well-structured pages. The software enables users to process text and images on a PC without requiring a particular expertise in programming or graphic design.
Host Color is including the latest version of Textpattern with its Midi, Max, Mega and Multi Domain shared hosting plans. The application is included in the Host Color PowerTools package and lets customers install software applications from their control panels.
“The great benefit of Textpattern is its flexibility. Installing and managing plugins that extend Textpattern’s abilities is straightforward and provides almost endless opportunities,” says Alexander Avramov, marketing manager of Host Color. “The need of such a tool is apparent as it will reduce the time for managing a website content and help site owners to focus on quality and running their business.”
On Monday, Host Color announced that it had added the Drupal content management system to its hosting plans.
