(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Dedicated hosting provider Hivelocity (www.hivelocity.net) recently announced it has launched its new website.
The web host first hinted about the launch in the March edition of its monthly newsletter.
The company made several revisions before it finally launched its new site to customers and the general public.
According to Hivelocity, the new site takes on a “cleaner look and more intuitive navigation as well as additional features,” as well as an “in-depth knowledge base and customer training center.”
“Our goal is to empower our customers with as much information and as many tools as possible to simplify and streamline their hosting experience,” says Steve Eschweiler, Hivelocity’s general manager.
Within the next three months, Hivelocity says it expects to launch phase two of its new customer portal called SPEED, which it says will improve the way web hosts interact with their customers and resellers.
The launch date for the customer portal is currently set for January 1, 2010.
Hivelocity recently provided the world’s largest open-source software development and distribution environment, SourceForge, with mirror site services.
