The Dutch version of goMobi on Webteam interface
(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Mobile site developer dotMobi announced on Wednesday it is now offering its goMobi (http://goMobi.info) service in Dutch.
The move comes a couple months after goMobi service is became available on Parallels virtualization and automation platform.
Web hosting provider Webteam has partnered with dotMobi to become the first to launch the Dutch version of goMobi.
goMobi allows any individual, regardless of expertise, to quickly create smartphone-optimized websites that work seamlessly on all platforms.
Using existing desktop content or working entirely from scratch, sites can be created to be compatible with almost all Web-enabled mobile devices as a result of goMobi’s built-in device detection and rendering technology.
goMobi sites include a range of features that use the capabilities of mobile phones, such as “mapping” to show directions to a business from the user’s location, “click to call” without the need to dial a number, easy content sharing via the phone, and deep integration with social networking sites.
“Our mission is to empower businesses to go mobile in any language, in any territory, for any device,” said dotMobi COO Eileen O’Sullivan. “goMobi makes it easy and cost effective to get your business on mobile, and ensure you are responding to the huge – and growing — number of customers who are seeking services via their mobile devices.”
goMobi sites can be hosted on an existing domain name or a new domain, giving users complete flexibility.
The mobile site creator lets site owners use one of seven language, including English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese and simplified Chinese.
In turn, site visitors can choose any of 14 languages for a machine translation of the site, ensuring their site is easy for you to create and easy for customers around the world to read.
Webteam will offer goMobi both directly from its website at http://www.siteop.mobi and through its network of sales partners.
