Gomez Appoints VP of EMEA

March 14, 2007 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web application experience manager Gomez (gomez.com) announced on Tuesday the appointment of David Flower as vice president of Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Gomez says Flower is a seasoned technology industry executive with over 17 years of international business management and his mission is to extend Gomez’s market leadership in continental Europe. He will direct all of Gomez’s business operations in Great Britain and Germany and report to Gomez’s president of worldwide field operations, Bruce Reading.

“Growing at 25 percent year over year, the European market for Internet monitoring and customer experience management solutions represents an enormous opportunity for Gomez. Attracting high caliber talent like David Flower underscores our commitment to this important market,” says Reading. “David brings exceptional leadership qualities and proven market development skills that will enable us to profitably support and grow our European customer base.”

Prior to joining Gomez, Flower held leadership positions at MapInfo, Lotus Development, which is now IBM, and Ventura Software.
