Go Daddy Unveils New Reseller Plans

July 20, 2005 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web hosting provider and domain registrar Go Daddy (godaddy.com) announced on Tuesday that it had launched new domain reseller plans, renaming the program Wild West Reloaded.

The new plans feature industry-low buy rates and do not require advanced deposits or revenue sharing. They also come with over $300 of free marketing tools, including a SSL certificate, search engine optimization tools, Website Tonight home page builder, a deluxe email account, email marketing, a reseller handbook and Google AdWords credit.

“In the few weeks since we launched Wild West Reloaded, sales revenue for all programs has jumped dramatically, particularly for the Basic and Pro programs, which have had growth in excess of 110 percent,” says Bob Parsons, president and founder of Go Daddy. “Clearly, deploying the lowest buy rates combined with free marketing tools was exactly what customers wanted in their reseller program.”

Wild West Domains offers three reseller packages. The Basic plan is priced at $99 per year, the Pro plan is priced at $199 per year, the Super Reseller is $229 per year and the API is $249 per year.
