Go Daddy Builds Small Business CRM App

(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Adding yet another feature to its product portfolio, web host and domain registrar Go Daddy (www.godaddy.com) has added a customer relationship management application, letting business owners keep track of customer information to build better relationships and personalize contact with them.

According to the company’s Tuesday announcement, Go Daddy Customer Manager helps businesses stay organized and aware of customer needs, leading to improved customer service and, ultimately, a better bottom line. Go Daddy notes that it is allowing clients to do what Go Daddy has been doing for years — cutting costs without sacrificing quality, especially customer service.

“Go Daddy’s ace in the hole has always been our commitment to customer service,” Go Daddy chief executive officer and founder Bob Parsons said in a statement. “It’s the key to success in any business. That’s why we created Customer Manager. It allows any business to build strong relationships with its customers — and is just one more way Go Daddy offers an easy and affordable solution to our customers’ needs.”

Go Daddy Customer Manager lets users quickly add contacts on the web or by importing from a current contacts’ list, store customers’ important files and past histories all in one place, easily sort best customers according to sales volume, create custom groups, mailing lists and filters to segment customers, attach files to notes and store important customer related details together.

Go Daddy notes that other companies offer similar CRM products (Salesforce.com (www.salesforce.com) comes to mind), however, according to Go Daddy, its Customer Manager is the most affordable option on the market, and it can be personalized to suit individual business needs. It is also a good option for current Go Daddy customers because it integrates well with Go Daddy’s new online shopping mall, Go Daddy Marketplace, where vendors can showcase their products without requiring a storefront of their own.
