July 13, 2007 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Managed services provider Global Netoptex (gni.com) announced on Thursday it will be featured at IDG World Expo’s inaugural Next Generation Data Center Conference and Expo (ngdcexpo.com), held place August 6-9, 2007. Derek Wise, president and CEO of Global Netoptex, will present at the exhibit.
The event will focus on new technologies and their impact on the data center, covering mission-critical applications and the technology supporting those applications including power and cooling issues. Wise will present at the session, ”Why Outsource? What to Know and Consider,” on August 9 from 11:30 to 12:30 p.m..
The session will discuss some of the advantages of outsourcing generally, and more specifically, of using Master Outsourcers.
“Any company not already focused on energy management and conservation will need to start implementing new procedures in 2008,” says Melinda Kendall, VP and general manager of Next Generation Data Center. “NGDC’s Advanced Facilities Management and Planning sessions will provide key guidance on maximizing performance while minimizing power.”
