Globix Files Chapter 11, Delists from Nasdaq

January 15, 2002 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web hosting company Globix Corporation (globix.com) saidyesterday it will file for bankruptcy and delist the company’s common stockfrom the Nasdaq exchange and will trade on the Over-the-Counter BulletinBoard (OTCBB), starting today.

Globix said it undertook a financial restructuring of $600 million in debt,resulting in its filing of a voluntary Chapter 11 bankruptcy starting inFebruary.
