May 4, 2005 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web Hosting provider Globat.com (globat.com) announced on Tuesday that it had launched its “When Pigs Fly” Mother’s Day promotion, giving away free Web hosting in an effort to help kids and dads give mom an extra-special present this year.
“Growing up and having a no-cash budget I used to draw pictures for my mom on Mother’s Day. This dramatic promo enables kids and their fathers to draw a digital picture for mom or upload some beautiful family shots without thinking about budgets,” said Globat.com’s CEO, Ben R. Neumann. “By providing our services for free we hope to get many people started on web hosting who would usually not be able to due to financial constraints.”
The promotion is open to anyone who purchases a Web hosting account from the company between May 4 and May 9, 2005. The free Web hosting deal is available through a mail-in rebate and can be redeemed for any of Globat’s three Web hosting plans: the Gigabyte starter, the Commerce package and the Commerce pro package.
