March 26, 2007 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web hosting provider Globalwebbrands (globalwebbrands.com) announced on Friday it has discontinued its $200 per month Terabyte Web hosting plan to make way for new service offerings.
Globalwebbrands.com says it plans on introducing dedicated servers and virtual private server Web hosting solutions to its portfolio of services by the first of July. The company, which recently discontinued its Web design services to focus completely on Web hosting, has received customer feedback demanding higher caliber offerings.
“In the past, we have always referred clients needing VPS or dedicated solutions to our partners. However, we have lately received stronger demand for a complete family of services that allows our users to effortlessly upgrade to higher-grade solutions with us as the need arises,” says Daniel Briere, Globalwebbrands.com CEO. “This is an important step towards continuing to establish Globalwebbrands.com’s new position as a leading Web hosting provider worldwide.”
The company says users currently on the Terabyte hosting plan will not be affected by the change and is only closed to new users. In addition, Globalwebbrands.com says it will continue offering its flagship shared hosting plans.
