March 19, 2007 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web hosting provider Globalwebbrands (globalwebbrands.com) announced on Monday it has partnered with search engine optimization specialist Submitnet (submitnet.net) to enable Globalwebbrands to market Submitnet’s SEO tools under its subsidiary, URL Logix (urllogix.com).
“Though we offer search engine optimization tools within our Web hosting control panel,” says Globalwebbrands CEO Daniel J. Briere, “we also had strong demand for more advanced tools. This is where Submitnet has really stepped up to the plate, helping us to fill a void in our services.”
In addition, Globalwebbrands has begun development on version 2 of the open-source Multihoster application. Multihoster is a PHP-based script that enables anyone to run a free Web hosting service, even from shared hosting.
Globalwebbrands also recently announced it has decided to make some drastic changes to its business after a disappointing month in February.
