Certification Authority GlobalSign Ltd. (www.globalsign.com) has launched a new four-tier partner program that lets resellers of all sizes benefit from a Secure Sockets Layer reselling partnership.
The SSL partner program, according to the company’s Wednesday announcement, consists of Authorized, Silver, Gold and Platinum levels, ideal for web hosts, ISPs, VARs, domain registrars and web consultants wishing to incorporate SSL certificates, which are a fundamental requirement for sites conducting online commerce or capturing customer data.
Since the launch of its SSL Reselling program back in July 2007, GlobalSign has seen an unprecedented number of resellers taking advantage of SSL certificate reselling as a value-add or revenue generating product addition to their product portfolios. Now with four levels of commitment, partners can choose the most appropriate tier to suit their individual business needs, and benefit from varying levels of pricing discounts, product integration, customer support and marketing and sales resources.

Through this system, resellers can offer all types of GlobalSign SSL Certificates including fast issuance Domain Validation SSL, traditional Organization Validation SSL, and the newly standardised Extended Validation SSL, as well as the options to buy in bulk on a discounted deposit or pay-as-you-go basis.
