April 9, 2008 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — IT security services provider GlobalSign (globalsign.com) announced on Wednesday it has launched its new affiliate program for SSL referrals.
GlobalSign affiliates will be able to link to its SSL products, enabling reseller to receive a 15 percent commission on all qualifying revenue made through the links.
In addition to the extra revenue stream, affiliates will be able to help its customers in securing their own websites, online transactions and data transfers with minimum outlay, time and investment, says GlobalSign.
The program has no start up fees or administrative costs and requires no commitment on the affiliate’s behalf. GlobalSign SSL affiliates need only to refer customers to GlobalSign and they will receive commission for every certificate sold.
GlobalSign says it will be responsible for the SSL certificate application process, payment, installation and technical support and after sales care.
Upon joining the SSL refferal affiliate program on GlobalSign’s website, affiliates will receive marketing resources to be implemented onto the their own website. GlobalSign’s Web based management control panel enables the affiliate to create their links, monitor their individual account, keep track of SSL certificate sales and view their commission payable.
Earlier this week, the company partnered with Axentra, the developer of the HipServ home server software platform, to provide layered security for its HipServ through its Trusted Root solution.
