April 18, 2005 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Web hosting provider Globat.com (globat.com) said on Friday that it had produced a "Tax Day Break" program, offering a free year's worth of Web hosting services for taxpayers.

"As our lives revolve more and more around information technology we are finding that having a presence online can be important and sometimes crucial to our personal and professional success," says Globat CEO Ben R. Neumann. "Our hope is that we can, through this offer, enhance the lives and advance the technical capabilities of the entire Internet community."

Globat.com's Tax Day Break program was open to anyone who visited and purchased a Web hosting account this past weekend. The free Web hosting offer is redeemable through a mail-in rebate for any one of Globat's three Web hosting plans, the GigaByte Package, Commerce Starter and Commerce Pro.

Los Angeles-based Globat is a privately held Web hosting company that has a global network of over 75,000 customers.
