(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) – SSL certificate provider GlobalSign (www.globalsign.com) announced on Thursday that German Web host ECS Webhosting (www.ecs-webhosting.de) has become a Gold level GlobalSign Partner. This partnership enables ECS to offer its customers full range of GlobalSign’s SSL certificates.
Earlier this week GlobalSign launched its German-language website (www.globalsign.de) supported by German sales and technical support representatives.
ECS Webhosting has offered its hosting customers SSL certificates for the past four years but says that with GlobalSign’s solutions it hopes to improve overall customer experience.
“Offering SSL Certificates in addition to our core products, which include shared Web hosting, server hosting and domain registration gives us the opportunity to offer our customers a true one-stop shop experience for their web requirements,” Ingo Fritz, managing director, ECS Webhosting said in a statement. “GlobalSign differentiate itself from other certification authorities through its German speaking professional customer service, greatly simplifying the SSL reselling experience which is vital to our customer base.”
Through its gold partnership status, ECS Webhosting will have access to a dedicated German-speaking account manager, and a marketing contact to provide support for SSL reselling.
