GeoTrust to Provide SSL for German ISP

March 10, 2004 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — A leading German provider of Internet services to ISPs and Web hostingcompanies has selected GeoTrust Europe (geotrusteurope.com) to provide SSL digital certificate products and services to its network of merchant customers.

The partnership will allow CPS-Datensysteme (cps-datensysteme.de) to offer its merchant customer base the ability to secure their online transactions using 128 bit SSL encryption. CPS-Datensysteme will use GeoTrust Europe’s QuickSSL PremiumT, True BusinessIDT and True BusinessID WildcardT certificates.

“Our merchant customers demand strong, credible security solutions to secure their consumer’s transactions, but also require fast issuance and, of course, cost-effectiveness,” said Felix Weigand, CEO of CPS-Datensysteme. “Our partnership with GeoTrust Europe delivers everything we need to provide our customers with secure transactions and customer confidence.”

“GeoTrust Europe’s partnership with CPS-Datensysteme will provide excellent exposure of GeoTrust products into CPS-Datensysteme’s extensive ISP and Web Host network within the German speaking countries,” said Paul Tourret, managing director of GeoTrust Europe.
