December 19, 2005 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Market research firm IDC (idc.com) said this week that a recent study predicts Georgia, Texas and Florida will be the biggest business IT spenders in the next five years.
IDC says that infrastructure and network connectivity maintenance and expansion will continue to be the focal point of most company’s spending.
The company believes vendors of smart handheld devices, volume servers, systems infrastructure software, and providers of operations and maintenance support services will benefit most.
Jessica Goepfert, program director for US Verticals Research at IDC, says spending in each respective state will hinge on their individual climates and the prominence of key vertical industries.
