January 24, 2003 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Software application developer GeoRedirect (GeoRedirect.com) announced on Thursday that it has launched a new IP-based geotargeting traffic management software solution, allowing Web site operators to manage site traffic based on geography.

The Geo Redirect Web server PHP application, says the company, provides Web site operators with the ability to determine variables like demographic location, domain extension and language from a user's IP address and redirect, manage and account for traffic with up to 95 percent accuracy.

According to the company, Geo Redirect allows site operators to redirect traffic from certain regions or domain extensions to specified translated Web pages or payment options, or to serve specific region-based content to that particular user, creating a more customized experience for site users.
