May 9, 2001 -- Genuity Inc. (www.genuity.com), a leading provider of Internet infrastructure and e-business network platforms, announced on Tuesday that Irwin Home Equity, one of five specialized financial services arms of Irwin Financial Corporation, has redeployed its web sites, now hosted and managed by Genuity.

The new sites are designed to provide Irwin customers and partners with an expanded collection of product information, and allow applicants to safely submit home equity loan and line of credit applications online.

Irwin says it chose Genuity to provide Web hosting services because of its extensive experience and reputation in Web hosting and managed security. The company says that since it transferred its loan application process online, it has noticed an increase in the number of applications it is receiving. Irwin feels that with Genuity?s help, it is enhancing its customer service offerings and ensuring maximum Web site performance.

As one of the first managed hosting providers in the industry, Genuity says it provides hosting services that enable companies to focus on their core businesses instead of the technological underpinnings. Genuity says it is taking the steps to ensure that Irwin?s customers experience both security and reliability.
