December 16, 2002 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Network simulation tools provider Gambit Communications (GambitComm.com) announced on Monday that it has released MIMIC Virtual Lab for Cisco, designed for training centers and network engineers.

MIMIC, says Gambit, offers hands-on experience through a simulated network environment built from the routers and switches required for Cisco certification exams. The product allows training centers to lower-cost training, either in the classroom or virtually over the Internet, providing an effective environment for beginners to familiarize themselves with the environment or expert users to sharpen their skills.
