Future Hosting Adds Seattle Facility

December 19, 2007 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web hosting provider Future Hosting (futurehosting.biz) announced on Tuesday it has added Seattle, Washington as another data center location for its virtual private server offerings.

The company says it chose Seattle because of its many geographical advantages to help target local businesses and vertical markets. The location is ideal for customers in northwestern parts of the United States and southwestern Canada, as well as offering lower-latency connections to most of Asia.

The technical specifications of the new data center areĀ  similar to the company’s other facilities in Chicago, Illinois and Dallas, Texas. The facilities offer redundant infrastructure, robust security and 10GB connections to the InterNap and Qwest backbones.

“We have business customers from all over the world, and many are focused on providing their services in one or two separate locations,” says Vik Patel, president and CEO of Future Hosting. “We feel offering a variety of geographic locations provides additional value for our customers.”

Future Hosting announced last month it attained SWsoft’s Platinum Partner status in recognition of its commitment to the software company’s control panel and server management solutions.
