August 19, 2002 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Internet data center developer FORTiX (FORTiX.com) and backup and disaster recovery developer EVault Northwest (EVaultNW.com) announced on Friday that they have teamed to provide disaster recovery services designed for small to medium-sized companies.
EVault?s software, say the companies, compliments FORTiX?s disaster recovery services, which are designed for enterprise-class customers. As part of the deal, EVault Northwest will use FORTiX?s extensive infrastructure and broadband network connectivity.
According to EVault, the company is able to fill in the range of services provided by FORTiX, while taking advantage of the zero downtime environment provided by FORTiX.
