Forbes.com Extends AT&T Hosting Deal

October 12, 2007 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Business news provider Forbes.com (forbes.com) announced on Thursday it has extended its Web hosting contract with telecommunications provider AT&T (att.com).

AT&T has provided hosting for the business news company for the past two years. The new agreement will continue to store Forbes.com’s networking equipment and critical data at a secure AT&T Internet data center.

“We are thrilled to expand our business with AT&T,” says Mike Smith, Forbes.com’s VP and GM of operations. “AT&T’s online infrastructure has provided Forbes.com visitors around the world with a fast, reliable experience on our site, even in periods of high traffic. We recognize the value that AT&T’s hosting capabilities bring to our online business.”

In addition to hosting services, Forbes.com will use AT&T’s intelligent content distribution service to enhance site performance and cater for traffic surges caused by breaking news and special publishing events.
