September 25, 2003 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Flicks Software (flicks.com) announced today the release of "Flicks Friends," a customizable Web cam service that Web hosting providers can offer their customers. The service, according to the company, is installed locally at the Web host and licensed on a revenue share model.

The Santa Monica, California-based company said Flicks Friends gives Web hosts a new cost effective source of revenue, is easy to setup and use, and requires little maintenance by the Web host.

The service includes remote administration tools, detailed reports, compatibility with industry leading payment processors including PayPal, and a customizable console.

"This is an important step for Flicks Software and our friends using ?Flicks Friends', said Kevin Flick, CEO of Flicks Software. "With Flicks Friends, Web Hosts can tap into the substantial revenue potential of hosting Web cam networks."
