(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Finnish Web hosting provider IceBlueHost (www.icebluehost.com) has joined the SSL partner program of longtime Certification Authority and SSL certificate security provider GlobalSign (www.globalsign.com), allowing it to resell the full range of GlobalSign SSL Certificates to its Scandinavian and European customer base.
According to GlobalSign’s Thursday announcement, the recent integration of the GlobalSign SSL reselling module into the management hosting solution platform WHMCS (www.whmcs.com) enables IceBlueHost to respond to its customers’ growing demand for SSL effectively and efficiently through the integration of SSL certificates with its control panel.
“We have experienced an unprecedented number of partner sign-ups since our association with WHMCS. The SSL reselling process is greatly simplified hence more accessible to hosting companies of all sizes, as the whole process can be managed within a single platform,” GlobalSign channel director Steve Waite said in a statement. “We are very pleased to welcome IceBlueHost on board as this partnership will be key to increasing the availability of our feature-packed SSL products on the Finnish market.”
As a Silver-level GlobalSign partner, IceBlueHost will be offering the full range of SSL certificates to its customers, from basic domain-validated SSL certificates to organization-validated and extended-validated certificates, which provide the highest level of security and brand protection to its more notable customers.
This newly formed partnership gives IceBlueHost customers easier access to the GlobalSign product range and its highly trusted 2,048-bit SSL technology to secure their websites, online transactions, logins, webmail and other next generation services, protecting themselves and their customers from today’s phishing attacks.

In June, French SSL aggregator TBS Internet (www.tbs-internet.com) joined GlobalSign’s SSL partner program, enabling it to complement its current SSL product portfolio GlobalSign’s simplified, highly competitive and feature-packed range of SSL certificates.
