(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Data center operator FiberMedia (www.fibermedia.net) announced on Friday it has finalized a 5,000 square foot data center deal with CBS (www.cbs.com) within one of FiberMedia’s four Metro New York City area data centers.
FiberMedia says it will provide CBS with a range of production, storage and data management functions at this new location.
“The CBS team was a pleasure to work with, and despite the integration of over 100 technicians involved in the complex move-in process, there were no dropped balls or unexpected downtime; and all went according to schedule,” says Chris Heim, FiberMedia’s chief operations officer.
FiberMedia offers a range of in-house services, including managed services, data/build services, turn-key data storage, business continuity and disaster recovery solutions.
The company’s turnkey solutions for data centers and managed services serve the financial, insurance, healthcare, pharmaceutical, educational, government and manufacturing markets.
The company has carrier-neutral facilities in New York City, Westchester, Jersey City, Brooklyn, Cleveland and Miami.
FiberMedia says it also plans to announce more data center locations before the end of the year.
