June 11, 2002 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web hosting firm and e-business solutions provider FatCow.com (fatcow.com) said yesterday it had seen gains of seven percent monthly since launching the first phase of its national advertising campaign.
Created by agency McKee Wallwork Henderson, the campaign kicked off earlier this year with print placements in thirteen national publications, including Inc Magazine, Wired, PC Magazine, Mac Addict and PC World. Each advertisement features the company’s illustrated “fat cow” character in several conversational scenarios.
“We had to differentiate because all the other web hosting companies look and feel thesame…you could just swap out the logos on their ads,” said Chris Moore, account supervisor for McKee Wallwork Henderson.
