December 1, 2003 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- New Mexico-based shared Web hosting provider FatCow (fatcow.com) said today that it is marking its fifth year in business and passing of the 25,000 customer milestone, by increasing disk space and bandwidth requirements for its customers.

According to FatCow, it has raised the disc space and monthly file transfer allotments for its $99.00 per year plan to 500MB and 25GB respectively. The company said the increases were not accompanied with a corresponding rise in the price of the plan.

"FatCow has become one of America's premier providers of Web hosting and related services. We're growing, we're consistently profitable, and we continue to create incredibly loyal customers in nearly 100 countries around the world. Those are truly achievements to celebrate," said Peter Ziesmann, marketing and development director for FatCow. "Our plan size increase is just one tangible way we can thank all those small businesses who have responded to our vision for a simple and innovative Web hosting alternative."

FatCow said its new offering applies to all new and existing accounts.

The company also announced that is has increased affiliate referral fees from $5 to $25.
